After serving as the contract manager and key listed personnel (program manager) for two US Environmental Protection Agency Emergency and Rapid Response Services Contracts (NY, NJ, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands), EnSig Corporation’s founder supported Operation Iraqi Freedom as a civilian contractor in Kuwait and Iraq, providing subcontract management support.

2005
The CEO of EnSig Corporation and the CEO of an Iraqi-American owned firm developed and presented the Model City Plan to the US Department of State and USAID in Washington, D.C.   The model plan was aimed at encouraging focus in reconstruction efforts on providing economic opportunities through Iraqis rebuilding Iraq.

Grant writing and development support for peacebuilding initiatives of the Institute for Multi-Track Diplomacy in Arlington, VA.

2005
In 2005, EnSig’s founder supported Hurricane Wilma recovery efforts with the American Red Cross National Disaster Response Team, assisting coordination of shelter operations by FEMA, the State of FL, and the American Red Cross in Miami and at FEMA’s headquarters in Orlando.

EnSig hosts the founder of the Friendship and Fraternity Association of Iraq and representatives of Seeds for Tomorrow to discuss potential joint humanitarian endeavors.

Teaming to Ship a 40 Foot Container of Medical Supplies to Basrah Teaching Hospital.

The Volunteer Fire Department of Sodus Point NY donated wheelchairs, crutches, a water rescue board, and a hospital gurney. Located on the waters of Lake Ontario, the volunteer Fire Department has unique rescue responsibilities.

Delco Medical Supply of Bucks County PA donated 23 new hospital mattresses and a pallet of surgical gloves. EnSig LLC donated a heart defibrillator and other items. EnSig Corporation managed logistics on behalf of Conscience Interntional, which paid for shipment.

Employees at Doylestown Hospital sort and inventory several thousand dollars worth of supplies they have donated. Seeds for Tomorrow developed donations and supported local transport. Friendship and Fraternity Association of Iraq coordinated in-country logistics.

April 2008
EnSig hosted the founder of the Friendship and Fraternity Association of Iraq for travel to the offices of MedShare International in Atlanta and meetings with Conscience International to coordinate shipment of medical aid to Basrah Teaching Hospital.

May 2008
Presentation to students in the Masters Program for Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding on “Ethical Dilemmas in Contracting and Humanitarian Response Efforts in Iraq” at the Arcadia University Center for Conflict Resolution.

Support for the Good Grief Program of TAPs, a program for children who have lost parents in the Iraq war.
Support to Seeds for Tomorrow as they raise funds at the Spring Concert of Hope to build schools in Iraq.

January 2009
EnSig Corporation supports Conscience International to accomplish shipment logistics for humanitarian medical aid to Gori Pediatric Hospital in the Republic of Georgia.

Seeds for Tomorrow approves a proposal to fund establishment of a pediatric clinic in Southern Iraq. Eddy Village Green nursing home donates hospital beds and furnishings adequate for a 16 bed clinic to Conscience International. A plan for preliminary to this end is developed. EnSig Corporation contributes costs of interim storage.

April 2009
A shipment valued at approximately $150K worth of medical aid, including biomedical equipment and hospital supplies, arrives at destination: Basrah General Teaching Hospital in Basrah, Iraq.

May 2009
EnSig explores the possibilities of partnering to ship pharmaceuticals via the USAID Denton program.

June 2009
Donation of pediatric clinic furnishings to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in support of two orphanages near Chernobyl is coordinated. Seeds for Tomorrow collects additional medical surplus from local hospitals.

July 2009
EnSig Corporation coordinates donation by a NY hospital of bio-medical equipment including a patient monitoring system, collecting and storing the items pending logistics for transport to Gaza.

October 2008-December 2009
